Finance Manager (Financial Institution)

Job Description:

Responsibilities

1. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, audit documentation, ESG sustainability reports, and variance analysis to meet reporting deadlines.
2. Lead forecasting, budget planning, and cost management while providing actionable financial insights.
3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements, including GST, MAS reporting, and SGX announcements.
4. Manage liquidity, oversee cash flow, authorize payments, and review reconciliations for accuracy.
5. Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers for year-end audits and tax filings.
6. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
7. Identify and drive process improvements in reporting, budgeting, and financial systems.
8. Support ad-hoc assignments, including system implementation projects.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent, with CA, CPA, or ACCA certification.
2. At least 5 years of relevant experience working in a Bank or Financial Institution.
3. Strong knowledge of SFRS and Singapore tax regulations.
4. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent analytical skills, and leadership abilities.
