Position: Contract Manager

Department: Infrastructure Planning and Development

Job Description:

You will be working with Head (Infrastructure Planning & Development) on all matters pertaining to project budgetary estimates, tenders to appoint contractors, and contracts and project management.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage the construction contracts of building and infrastructure projects from award until final accounts;
2. Drive the tenders for the appointment of contractors in building and infrastructure projects;
3. Lead the procurement of furniture and equipment and ensure timely deliveries;
4. Project management of minor renovation works within the campus from conceptualization till completion; and
5. Perform any other duties assigned to the Department.

Educational and Professional Requirements

1. Recognised degree in Quantity Surveyor, Engineering, Construction/Building Management, or equivalent
2. At least 15 years of proven working experience in building/infrastructure construction contract management
3. Experience in healthcare sector and/or facilities management (maintenance) and/or Mechanical & Electrical engineering know-how will be an advantage
