[East/Central] Material Planner (Manufacturing) | Up to $4k | Start ASAP

We are hiring for our client: Material Planner

Location: Boon Keng / Aljunied area

Working Hours: 830am to 6pm Mon to Fri

Salary: $3,000 to $4,000 depending on experience

Duties:

• Oversee production plans, including the creation, release, and timely shipment of work orders to meet customer requirements.
• Review customer demand and commit delivery dates to the Sales Department in Sales Order Details.
• Work closely with purchasing and warehouse/logistics teams to ensure on-time receipt and delivery of materials.
• Monitor and coordinate material shortages, advise on quantity order requests, and collaborate with Buyers to expedite materials.
• Ensure work orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Monitor material fulfillment and utilization of work-in-progress (WIP).
• Drive efforts to minimize excess and obsolete WIP inventory.
• Assist in developing, maintaining, and enhancing existing processes and key performance metrics.
• Participate in initiatives to improve operational efficiency and streamline workflow procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Planning Manager.
• Other adhoc duties as assigned.
