As a Marketplace team, the Marketplace Order Operations team supports Shopee’s business growth by building and maintaining services that empower the after-sales experience of Shopee. These services are designed with a high level of consistency and performance to deliver an uninterrupted and smooth experience for our users.

• Collaborate with fellow developers, product managers, designers, and operation engineers to build products with cutting-edge technologies.
• Design and implement backend services/systems/tools used by our products and users.
• Write high-quality, clean, and maintainable code using engineering best practices (unit testing, source control, continuous integration, automation, design patterns, etc.).
• Maintain large scale production services supporting millions of users; continuously iterate while maintaining system stability and performance.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Golang.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a backend software engineer.
• Familiar with performance tuning, massive concurrency handling, and caching mechanisms.
• Well balanced system design capabilities with both long-term and short-term goals in mind.
• Deep understanding of software engineering concepts and processes.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork spirit.
