About Our Client Our client is a MRO Procurement Solutions Provider, expert in the development and innovation of MRO solutions for organisations across the globe. They take pride in ensuring optimized Supplier Development Management to achieve maximized customer satisfaction.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Key responsibilities of this role would include:
Design and spearhead the procurement strategy within the division as a Subject-Matter-Expert, in alignment to the company's growth and supply requirements
Design and execute policies and procedures across the operation of procurement activities
Accountable for the Review, development and implementation of new / existing supplier strategy by means of ensuring proper monitoring of market movements to support the various Product Line
Lead supplier reliability, supplier performance reviews and contract negotiations
Influence interface partners to ensure strategic cost savings with suppliers to ensure optimal company profits.
Ensure efficient work partnership with cross-functional teams etc to mitigate any cost / supplier quality and/or supply assurance issues
Candidate Profile
Minimally Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Engineering or related studies
Approx. 5 years of Global Procurement / Sourcing experience preferably in Industrial MRO fields.
Excellent in multi-tasking as well as written, influencing, negotiation & analytical skills to drive process improvements to enhance & streamline process maturity and optimizing teamwork and synergy in the organization
International Trade Compliance and Regulations exposure will be advantageous
Excellent proficiency in MS Office suite
