Responsibilities:
Cook
Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters
Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed
Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom
Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock
Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
Observing cooking times and correct temperatures
Service Crew
Interact with and serve F&B guests
Maintain food and beverage production environment
Maintain food and beverage service environment
Maintain quality control procedures
Prepare for service
Baker
Measure and mix ingredients to make breads, rolls, pies and cakes
Weigh materials to ensure appropriate quantity
Ensure that oven temperature is in accordance with the type of product being baked
Remove baked goods from the oven and place on cooling racks
Ensure that correct quantities of batches are being made
Ensure appropriate storage of baking utensils and supplies
Make sure that baking equipment is cleaned and maintained properly
Ensure compliance with food safety standards
Oversee cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment
Manage inventory of supplies and order supplies before they run out
Pastry Chef
Able to develop, design, and create new and exciting desserts to renew menus and engage the interest of customers
Able to recognize superior quality products, presentations and flavors and ensure excellent quality throughout the dessert offerings
Decorate pastries and desserts using different types of icings, toppings etc. and ensure the food presentation will be beautiful and exciting
Pastry preparation according to restaurant’s standard of quality, recipes and standard operating procedures
Responsible for managing the inventory of all pastry and dessert ingredients, as well as ordering supplies and ingredients as needed
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the pastry industry to ensure that the restaurant's desserts and baked goods are innovative and competitive
Plays a critical role in a restaurant's success by creating high-quality desserts and baked goods that delight customers and contribute to the overall dining experience
Requirements:
Positive working attitude
High energy and a strong passion for delighting customers
Strong management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
No experience is required as training provided
