Automotive Technician

Job Summary:

• Expected salary: $2,000 - $3,500 per month

Responsibilities:

• To perform and select, apply, and maintain various service tools correctly.
• Installation of electrical switches, sensors, transducers, transmitters, current transformers, alternator components, control panels, etc.
• Installation of engine wiring in accordance with the drawings provided.
• Disassemble and assemble engine components, i.e., oil pump, water pump, and cylinder head (inclusive of engine overhaul experience).
• To perform ET tool connection onto the engine to view diagnostic codes and events and file data (optional but ideal to have the experience).
• Knowledge of the engine and alternator systems to perform troubleshooting when problems arise.
• Knowledge of hydraulic steering systems, marine gearbox, AC power alternator, alignment, and control panel.

Requirements:

• ITE or equivalent.
• Preferably 3 to 5 years of relevant practical hands-on experience in heavy-duty diesel or automobile mechanics.
