Your mission
We are looking for a passionate sales professional to join our APAC Sales team. Preferred location would be Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok or Jakarta. You can work from home office or our Singapore office hosted by our parent company NSK. Reporting to the General Manager of Sales (ASEAN/OCEANIA) you will be responsible for driving the business with our channel partners and selected end users in the region.
You will develop and implement effective and profitable sales plans to increase market share and delight both new and existing customers through sales of our Condition Monitoring solutions.
- Use your skills to execute the company’s sales and marketing strategies, adapting your approach to align with market requirements in your assigned region.
- Implement the company’s channel partner strategy, customize it to the regional market requirements and negotiate and maintain contracts with the channel partners.
- Undertake partner activities to sustain and develop sales in the region and analyze regional performance of the partners.
- Grow your opportunity pipeline and develop sales strategies and execution plans to meet or exceed order entry objectives.
- Develop, negotiate and close profitable deals for Condition Monitoring solutions using our sensors, “edge” devices, software and connected services.
- Build successful working relationships with other Brüel & Kjær Vibro and NSK internal teams such as marketing, R&D, field & project services, order handling and internal sales to ensure that your customers have a fantastic experience.
- Use the SalesForce CRM system as your daily dashboard to manage your pipeline and day to day customer activities, leaning on marketing to help you create leads and continuously hunt for new business.
Your profile
- University degree in business related subject or engineering.
- You will ideally have first B2B sales experience in the industrial environment.
- Exposure to Value-Based Selling will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of machine condition monitoring technology and vibration analysis is an important pre-requisite and CAT-II/III Vibration Analyst certification will be an advantage.
- The challenge of finding, converting and retaining customers is your passion and your existing customers trust and value your advice.
- Travelling to meet interesting people from different cultures excites you and you are as comfortable on the factory floor as you are in the board room. Understanding how to create rapport with customers, you are an excellent listener.
- You have a thirst for knowledge and love to embrace new technologies and techniques. You spend time honing your sales skills and keeping up with new technologies such as IoT, Cloud and Big Data.
- You speak English fluently and have excellent written communications skills.
