We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant or Senior Account Executive to join our finance team. This role involves supporting general ledger and fixed asset accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting in audit preparation. The successful candidate will contribute to the timely and accurate completion of accounting tasks and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journals, and reconcile general ledger and bank accounts.
• Assist in the monthly and annual financial close processes.
• Ensure accurate recording of transactions in compliance with accounting standards.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and preparing analyses.
• Track capital work-in-progress (CWIP) and assist with asset capitalization processes.
• Perform physical verification and reconciliation of fixed assets periodically.
• Assist in the implementation of fixed asset controls and procedures.
• Identify areas for improving efficiency in accounting processes.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in audit or accounting related.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and SFRS(I)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
