Maintenance Technician I/II is responsible for the servicing, inspection, repair, and maintenance of equipment, plant, and facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate servicing, inspection, repair, and maintenance of equipment, plant, and facilities to ensure minimum downtime.
Plan and organize Weekly and Daily Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program.
Responsible for the performance and discipline of the technicians on shift duty.
Coordinate minor and major repairs, replacement & overhaul of equipment, plant, and facilities at component & system level, to ensure minimum disruption to operations.
Ensure quick response to trouble-shoot, rectify, and re-activate equipment, plant, and facilities. If unable, organize recovery to workshop to repair, rectify and make good, and put back into operation with minimum delays and downtime.
Verify the accuracy of computer daily job sheets and timekeeping.
Monitor and review work methods, conditions, and housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment.
Verify and ensure workshop equipment is maintained in good working condition.
Verify parts for replacement are beyond economic repair (BER) and cannot be reconditioned.
Any other duties as assigned.
Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures.
Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head.
Requirements
Minimum Vocational/ITE certificate or equivalent in Building Maintenance (not a must).
Experience in servicing, inspection, repair, and maintenance of equipment, plant, and facilities will be an added advantage.
Must possess a minimum LTA class 3 driving license.
Must be able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
