Job Responsibilities
Assist in investigations and reports on productivity, quality, and internal/external claims, supporting root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action reports (CAR).
Support engineering and production teams in improving assembly processes.
Help create and update documentation, including operating instructions and check sheets.
Monitor basic functions of the Point of Production (POP) System and Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Review Manufacturing Order Sheets (MOS) and Special Orders (SPO), providing basic feedback and assisting in necessary preparations.
Provide on-ground support by gathering shop floor feedback for the Production Engineering and Design & Development (D&D) teams.
Assist the Production Manager in ensuring smooth operations for new machine model launches.
Participate in training sessions related to new operating instructions, check sheets, and updated requirements.
Support troubleshooting efforts for basic mechanical or electrical non-conformances under supervision.
Interpret mechanical/electrical drawings with guidance from senior engineers.
Assist in verifying parts using the AS400 system.
Help in setting up and testing electrical/mechanical components with support from the team.
Support the production team in meeting schedules while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Maintain records of inspection results throughout the electrical and mechanical processes.
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and workplace organization (5S) principles.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
1 year of experience in a machine assembly or production environment.
Basic understanding of 5S principles and workplace safety (HSE).
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with engineering drawing software (SolidWorks, Unigraphics) is a plus but not required.
Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
