Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company growth targets in the APAC & Middle East regions. • Oversee and manage the sales pipeline across the regions, ensuring a strong and consistent revenue stream. • Lead a team of 5 country managers across diverse markets, providing guidance, support, and performance management. • Develop a deep understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to ensure alignment of the sales strategy with market demands.
Team Management & Development: Manage and mentor country managers to enhance their leadership and sales capabilities, promoting a high-performance culture. • Ensure the effective allocation of resources and support to each region, while maintaining consistency in sales processes. • Foster a culture of collaboration, driving communication between cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, and customer success) to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Revenue Growth & Market Penetration: Drive new business development across APAC and Middle East markets, leveraging existing relationships and generating new opportunities. • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives, key decision-makers, and influencers within the hospitality and tech industries. • Collaborate with marketing teams to refine go-to-market strategies and ensure alignment with sales efforts. • Deliver against sales targets while continuously identifying opportunities to increase market share and expand into new regions.
Customer & Industry Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends, technological advancements, and customer pain points to position the company as an innovative leader in the hospitality tech sector. • Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product development and ensure the company's solutions meet the evolving needs of the market.
Performance Management & Reporting: Regularly report on sales performance, pipeline health, and regional growth to senior leadership, ensuring visibility into key metrics. • Conduct sales forecasting and ensure that team members are aligned with overall corporate goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the executive team to ensure the sales strategy aligns with global company objectives, product development, and brand positioning. • Collaborate with the marketing and customer success teams to ensure successful lead generation, conversion, and post-sale customer retention strategies.
Requirements
At least 15 years of experience in sales leadership roles within the hospitality technology, SaaS, or related industries.
Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams, managing large territories, and achieving significant revenue growth.
In-depth understanding of the APAC and/or Middle Eastern markets, with established networks within the hospitality industry.
Good leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills to manage a diverse team.
Strong ability to influence C-level stakeholders and build high-level partnerships across the hospitality industry.
