Finance Director – Entertainment & F&B Industry

A leading player in the entertainment and F&B industry seeks a dynamic Finance Director to lead their Singapore operations. This high-impact role reports directly to the CEO, overseeing full finance functions while driving strategic initiatives.

About the Role

As Finance Director, you will shape the financial strategy and ensure the organization's financial health. This hands-on position requires both strategic leadership and operational expertise across controllership and business partnering functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Leadership: Oversee finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory compliance.
2. Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with CEO and senior leadership, providing financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making and business growth.
3. Controllership: Ensure integrity of financial operations, accurate reporting, robust internal controls, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
4. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to drive profitability and growth.
5. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
6. Cash Flow & Risk Management: Manage cash flow, optimize working capital, and identify financial risks with actionable mitigation strategies.
7. Stakeholder Management: Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders for compliance and seamless financial operations.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA, CPA, or ACCA certification is strongly preferred.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, at least 5 years in a leadership role; industry experience in hospitality, entertainment, or F&B is highly desirable.

Skills: Strong controllership expertise, exceptional business partnering and stakeholder management skills, solid knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and tax regulations, proficiency in financial systems and tools.
