Job Summary

The successful candidate will lead the IT department's goals, objectives, and strategy to meet the bank's business priorities and missions. This role involves establishing a business plan, driving plans toward set goals, and developing key performance indicators (KPIs) targets and balance scorecards to assess performance.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and drive the Administration Centre of Excellence (CoE) to optimize administration work in business, IT planning, and development of life cycles such as staff management and invoice management.
  2. Lead the centralization of procurement processes and implementation of IT & Development Program.
  3. Develop and maintain a structured management reporting framework.
  4. Implement a structured resource management framework for HR and budgetary sustainability and adequacy.
  5. Enhance financial management processes, workflows, and automation initiatives to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Manage the department's financial, budget, and tax management (CAPEX and OPEX) in Singapore and APAC countries.
  7. Ensure adherence to prevailing Financial, Taxation, head office policies, guidelines, and operating processes.
  8. Analyse data (external and internal) to develop comprehensive financial, operational, and project reports for senior management's review and decision making.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 7 years of working experience within the financial industry or banking industry, preferably in the Technology and/or Digital department.
  3. Experience in establishing and driving Business Management support for Technology department in the Asia Pacific region.
  4. Proven track record in planning and coordinating with businesses and IT teams to establish IT strategy and provide regular tracking and reporting.
  5. Good knowledge and experience in managing IT financials, budgets, and resources covering CAPEX and OPEX, cost management, and optimization.
  6. Strong understanding of Banking Technology function and experience in working with virtual teams in the Asia Pacific region.
  7. Familiarity with Project Life Cycle and System Development Life Cycle framework.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced technical and business environment and multi-task while delivering high-quality solutions.
  9. Adept at working in a matrix organization to drive operational and strategic objectives.
  10. Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and detailed oriented.
  12. Strong innovative mentality and mindset.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
