Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented
- Assist the PSD Manager in the turnkey project of Platform Screen Door (PSD) system for railway projects by managing and monitoring the project deliverables and site works.
- Liaise with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure site work activities are executed accordingly and respectively.
- Ensure the PSD subcontractor completes all stipulated works as per the contract requirements and specifications, and follow up with them to resolve any site and technical issues relating to PSD system installation and testing & commissioning.
- Monitor the PSD project schedules and site readiness & progress to ensure the activities are carried out in a timely manner and are conducted safely whilst ensuring quality assurance.
- Review system-related documentation and scheme drawings and verify that the client/stakeholder comments and queries are updated & addressed accordingly, along with analyzing and conducting self-assessment on the engineering proposals and system changes or upgrades to the PSD systems.
- Attend regular coordination, safety committee, and site meetings with civil contractors, system-wide contractors, clients, and other project stakeholders to address any arising matters.
- Attend and witness relevant site activities by subcontractors or other contractors and review field reports and conduct joint inspections with clients and subcontractors for site activities.
- Administer and submit relevant project documents including drawings, work procedures, and corresponding reports.
- Follow up on Defect Liability Period (DLP) matters and attend to rectification works after completing each phase of the project.
Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Railway Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in project management, engineering, or railway projects will be considered; experience in PSD system & installation is an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, able to demonstrate coordination capability.
- Prepared to attend construction site works and inspections & testing.
- Team player who is proactive, analytical, and well-organized.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to comprehend AI operating systems/platforms.
- Able to work night shifts on an assigned basis and travel overseas when required.
