Gas turbine cooling, aerodynamics and secondary air systems design and development
Required skills: (3 to 8 years of Experience)
Master degree and/or PHD (doctoral) in the field of aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer fields.
Experience with fluid mechanics, CFD, CHT, heat transfer, aerodynamics calculations and analysis using commercial CFD tools (StarCCM+) and in house codes and tools (C3D) from past experiences.
Experience in rotating machinery and turbomachines preferably Gas Turbines.
Good skills in problem solving and a structured way of working.
Language: Good in English both verbally and written.
Desired skills:
Experience in programming, maintenance and development of in-house calculations and programming tools is an advantage
Good knowledge within and great interest in fluid mechanics and heat transfer in general, preferably with a focus on theory and analytical solutions.
