A Corp Lab in NTU is looking for a Research Fellow to support research work under the project "Urban Sustainability" which aims to develop a suite of techniques for efficiently and effectively building new digital infrastructure of city scenes, managing all city data in a high definition and 3D/4D referencing system, and performing simulation, interaction, and analysis on the digital twin city model.
We are looking for a Research Scientist to work on the simulation aspect of the project, focusing on:
Data-driven model creation and auto-calibration of agent-based simulations;
Dynamic creation of simulation instances for providing modelling and simulation as a service on the Cloud;
Speeding-up and scaling-up agent-based simulations.
Job Responsibilities:
Support research work under the project "Urban Sustainability".
Work on the simulation aspect of the project as described above.
Conduct high-quality research on algorithm design, analysis, and performance evaluation and publish research outcomes in top tier conferences and journals.
Job Requirements:
PhD degree in computer science or related field.
Strong scientific publication record.
Familiarity with discrete-event modelling and simulation and data-driven applications.
Excellent programming skills and experience in large system development.
Ability to work independently and with a large team.
Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
