SRE (Site Reliability Engineer)

Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure for the organization to be in line with company guidelines or SOP (standard operating procedure).

Assists in the coordination of various teams testing and evaluating for the development of design and its implementation of the best output.

Installs, configures, and tests operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability.

Evaluates the existing systems and provides the technical direction.

Plans and implements system automation as required for better efficiency.

Deals with work process, optimization methods, and risk management tools in the given projects for the successful accomplishments according to the requirements of the stakeholders.

Requirements

1. Computer science degree
2. Scripting and programming proficiency
3. OS and Network experience
4. Certification may be helpful
5. Operating systems: Linux, IBM AIX & Solaris
6. Configuration Management Tools: Ansible and Puppet
7. Monitoring tools: ELK, Prometheus, Grafana
8. APM Tools: Dynatrace & AppDynamics
9. Cloud Platforms: AWS, Microsoft Skytap, Azure, and GCP
10. Scripting Languages: SHELL BASH
11. IaaC Tools: Terraform, Dockerfile
12. Containerization: Docker, PCF & Kubernetes
13. UNIX System Administration (RHEL, AIX & Solaris), Problem Determination and solving, and experience on GPFS, PowerHA System Mirror, and VIO
14. Experience in Observability and Monitoring including APM tools
