Manage and support Institute’s corporate and social events by planning and overseeing the end-to-end execution in virtual, physical and hybrid settings
Preparation and management of events’/projects’ operating budget, vendors and procurement process
Follow up on sponsorship leads and assist in monitoring of accounts/entitlements
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as part of events planning and management, which includes logistical arrangements, giving inputs and suggestions while ensuring events requirements are met and live event execution.
Manage and support events/projects led by the department to ensure timely and effective progress
Support team members’ events/projects to meet targets
Support Lead, Partnerships & Partnerships Specialist in liaising, planning and managing partner-driven events.
Adhering to internal financial timeline such as preparing financial documents and payment to vendors
Sourcing of multiple items for vendors’ evaluation and selection (Evaluation of Quotation) for events
Managing tight timelines and multiple different stakeholders
Requirements:
Ability to manage different stake holders to meet their requirements and to collaborate with them to achieve intended results of the events.
Ability to manage and act as a point of contact between external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure that requirements for the event are met.
Ability to manage events/projects with experience and lead with confidence, and to act, respond and solve ad hoc situations during the events/projects to keep things moving
Meticulous, resourceful and innovative with a positive work attitude
Able to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
Able to multi-task and willing to take on new projects
Able to work individually as well as a team player
