We are a research organisation dedicated to understanding issues facing Singapore companies. Working closely with key stakeholders, and through rigorous research, we aim to provide industry insights that can shape policies and initiatives for the benefit of the industry. One of the key activities involved is polling SMEs in various sectors in the economy.
We are currently recruiting adjunct staff to help with research operations. The job involves conducting secondary research on companies in Singapore and performing data cleaning of research data. No sales or marketing is involved; we conduct confidential market research only. Research projects will be conducted throughout the year, and obtaining contact details of companies is part of the preparation work for the projects.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct secondary research on target companies based on listings provided to obtain contact details of senior management or other relevant personnel depending on research needs. This will consist mainly of online research and phone calls to verify information.
Speak with target respondents to verify information and obtain participation in studies.
Follow up with reminder calls to companies to encourage survey participation.
Verify company information online to ascertain accuracy.
Perform simple data entry duties to update information.
Any other related ad-hoc activities.
Qualifications and Skills
Good proficiency in the English language.
Possess good telephone etiquette.
Able to communicate clearly and confidently with senior business professionals.
Engaging, resilient, and persistent in reaching out to target audience.
Comfortable with a high volume of repetitive tasks.
Familiar with the use of MS Office applications, especially Excel.
