Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Compliance Engineer with extensive experience in overseeing and managing the compliance of an organization's network infrastructure with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and deep technical expertise to ensure that the network environment is secure, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the organization’s network infrastructure meets all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
2. Establish governance frameworks to ensure ongoing compliance with standards such as MAS FSM-N06, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
3. Lead the development and enforcement of network compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
4. Oversee the design and execution of network compliance programs, including risk assessments, audits, and monitoring activities.
5. Identify, assess, prioritize and mitigate organization's network infrastructure compliance risk.
6. Collaborate with GRC, legal, IT, and security teams to align policies with organizational objectives.
7. Collaborate with external auditors, regulators, and third-party vendors to ensure compliance.
8. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to identify areas of improvement and facilitate the submission of evidence.
9. Monitor emerging threats and regulatory changes to proactively adapt compliance programs.
10. Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
11. Maintain accurate, detailed and current records of compliance activities, audit findings, and remediation efforts meeting regulatory requirements.
12. Evaluate, select, and implement network compliance management tools and technologies.
13. Stay updated of advancements in network compliance technologies and recommend improvements.
14. Manage network’s vendor risk management by evaluating third-party network security controls.
15. Ensure that third-party services and products integrated into the network meet compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
2. Experience: 10+ years of experience in enterprise network risk, security and compliance work.
3. Certifications: Industry certifications such as:
1. Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
2. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
3. Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
4. Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security)
5. Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
4. Knowledge and skills:
1. Advanced expertise in network security protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
2. Advanced expertise in banking compliance regulations such as MAS FSM-N06, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
3. Advanced knowledge of network security protocols and practices (e.g., VPN, firewalls) as well as tools (e.g., Tufin).
4. Advanced expertise with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and compliance automation tools.
5. Strong ability to analyze network traffic, security logs, and audit reports to identify compliance issues.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Able to mentor staff and peers while fostering a collaborative environment.
8. Advanced communication and reporting skills.
9. Strong leadership skills to drive compliance initiatives, lead cross-functional collaboration and manage regulatory expectations.
