Event Planning & Management: Plan and oversee events such as Open Houses, Graduation Ceremonies, and Launch Events, ensuring all objectives and timelines are met.
Content Production: Create promotional materials, event programs, and digital assets; coordinate photography/videography and post-event content like highlight reels.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams (Recruitment, Admissions, Facilities) and external vendors (catering, décor, AV support) to achieve event goals.
Leadership & Execution: Conduct pre-event briefings, lead on-site teams during events, and facilitate post-event debriefs for continuous improvement.
Budget & Risk Management: Develop and track budgets, optimize costs, ensure compliance with safety standards, and create contingency plans for potential risks.
Ad Hoc Support: Support broader marketing and recruitment objectives, respond to urgent content needs, and take on additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, or related fields; certifications in Event Planning or Project Management (e.g., CMP, PMP) are a plus.
3–5 years in event planning, content production, or project management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale events.
Proficiency in event management tools (e.g., Eventbrite), project management software, and basic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva); familiarity with video editing software.
Experience creating event materials and multimedia assets.
Strong team management skills, with the ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder teams effectively.
Flexibility to work evenings/weekends during events, familiarity with risk management and safety protocols, and knowledge of budgeting and financial management for events.
