MAIN PURPOSE

The role of a Demand & Supply Planning Executive is to support the overall business, financial & supply chain management process by rigorous management of the demand signals for the various brands, product types and customer channels.

They will play a key role in the Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (S&OP) process by working with the multi-functional teams (namely Sales, Marketing and Finance) to assure tight alignment in the forecast (which will drive the supply, inventory & production plans) and financial plans.

DEMAND PLANNING

1. Drive monthly S&OP and forecast meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
2. Ensure robust process is in place to facilitate the 18 months forecast development of by SKU & aggregate forecast based on the brands intelligence from the multifunctional teams (e.g., incorporating latest promotion plans, in-market performance of the new launches, competitive activities, macro market trends, customers’ plans, trade inventory, etc.).
3. Lead forecast building block for New products & build baseline for Regular product range.
4. Maintain & update New products Finished Goods & Point of Sale Materials (POSM) forecast tracker.
5. Reconcile supply plan to demand plan to mitigate shortfalls and excess stocks situations for new launches, production related shortages or un-forecasted demand spikes.
6. Analyse and highlight business risk and opportunity to stakeholders and jointly propose appropriate mitigation plans.
7. Develop and prepare monthly forecasting files, S&OP and KPI reports.
8. Maintain demand planning system and software.
9. Maintain Demand Planning Attributes & Master data.
10. Monitor trends in forecast error & missed sales.
11. Local kits creation & tracking to ensure stocks are ready for sell-in.

SUPPLY PLANNING

1. Plan rolling 15 months supply needs and execute procurement of finished goods from global suppliers.
2. Manage Supply Issues including creating Inter-company purchase order (PO), advance ship notice (ASN), TP/FOB purchase prices.
3. Facilitate local outbound documentation for Intra-regional transfers.
4. Manage inventory to meet service/fill rate level in a cost-effective manner.
5. Follow up on shipments for product launches and promos, expedite IVAS for urgent needs.
6. Partner with key stakeholders regularly and communicate any updates.
7. Provide & communicate Inventory analysis reports, Vendors’ & Customers’ fill rates, stock shortage risks with Brands’ stakeholders.
8. Consolidate monthly purchase of Finished Goods & Point of Sale Materials (POSM) for approval.
9. Partnering with Sales & Marketing on prevention & management of Slow and Obsolete Inventory (SLOBs), identify aged & damaged or unconsumed inventory for clearance & write off approval.
10. Support GKPI & maintain Forecast Tracker.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree/Diploma holder in supply-chain or other relevant disciplines.
2. Ideal to possess more than 2 years' experience in demand and supply planning.
3. Strong analytical skills, sound judgement and drive for excellence.
4. High level of commitment and initiative, ability to work independently.
5. Advance proficiency in MS Excel.
6. Prior experience with SAP, IBP or other statistical forecasting tools is advantageous.
7. Ideally from a multi-brand fragrance & beauty environment.
8. Adaptable to undertake activities or new brands portfolio assigned.
9. Participate in demand & supply planning projects.
