IT Network Engineer/ System Engineer / Systems Engineer

Our client is a global advanced precision engineering & manufacturing solutions provider.

• Working Hrs: Mon-Fri/ 8.15am - 5.45pm
• MNC/ Manufacturing company
• Permanent position

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company’s IT infrastructure network, including the design, implementation, and maintenance of computer networks with hardware such as routers, switches, access points, and network circuits. Utilize technologies like HP Aruba, ClearPass, Cisco switching and routing, Fortinet, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Provide network administration support.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, including IP Address Management (IPAM), configuration changes, and adherence to network lifecycle management records.
• Resolve network issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Configure and deploy network equipment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and enhance security.
• Patch and update network devices.
• Network Security Support.
• Provide systems administration support for server management, WINTEL, and Hyperconverged infrastructure platforms like Dell VxRail, VMware, and HyperV.
• Review IT infrastructure network lifecycle management processes, procedures, policies.
• Provide training and support to users.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in computer science, IT or a related field.
• 3-5 years of network administration experience.
• Strong technical skills, including knowledge of a wide range of IT networks and systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• A strong understanding of networking protocols, network security principles, cybersecurity best practices, and experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
• Certified or equipped with in-depth knowledge in server hosting operations, network, IT security and server/storage technology.
• CCNA, CCNP will be added advantage.
