Design and Development: Assist in the design and development of control and safety systems, including cybersecurity implementation, for industries such as Oil & Gas, Marine, and Semiconductor manufacturing.
Program Development: Develop customized programs for PLC, SCADA & HMI tailored to specific project and customer requirements.
System Validation: Responsible for system validation activities, including testing, debugging, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), commissioning, and handover. Support the team in preparing necessary documentation.
Installation and Commissioning: Provide installation and commissioning support for third-party control system projects, ensuring smooth integration and operation.
On-site Support: Offer on-site support and troubleshooting for PLC systems during installation, commissioning, and operational phases to ensure optimal performance.
Customer Communication: Maintain effective communication with customers to meet project requirements, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Control & Instrumentation Engineering.
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in automation and control systems within the industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming various PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, etc.), SCADA systems (WinCC, PCS7, FactoryTalk, Wonderware, etc.), and HMIs.
Work Environment: Willingness to work in local, overseas shipyards, and offshore environments, adapting to different conditions and requirements.
Control Panel Expertise: Experience in control panel design, troubleshooting is a plus.
Team Collaboration: Proactive and able to work independently while fostering collaboration within teams to achieve project goals.
Customer Focus: Strong understanding of customer requirements and quality standards, ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
Cybersecurity Knowledge: Knowledge in OT Cyber Security and Networking is an advantage, enhancing system security and reliability.
