Desktop Engineer | Up to $2.8k | 12 Months Contract

Responsible for the construction, testing, installation, operations & facility management of client platforms to meet agreed business needs & service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform troubleshooting for client platform related problems.
2. Respond promptly to incidents, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
3. Perform service requests related to client platforms.
4. Monitor the agreed service level, document & maintain the configuration of the systems; provide regular reporting to relevant parties.
5. Involve in client platform implementation/upgrade projects.
6. Manage client platform implementation/upgrade projects.
7. Perform research/evaluation of client platform tools.
8. Provide systems related technical advice to customers or project teams.
9. Manage client platform management systems.
10. Manage systems changes through the change request process & provide status reports to the relevant parties.
11. Perform client platform related presales tasks.
12. Gather business &/or application requirements on the infrastructure to perform the infrastructure requirement analysis & design.
13. Ensure service levels meet requirements. Propose and implement action plans when required.
14. Establish facility management standards/best practices to ensure operation consistency across project/facility management teams.
