Adecco is partnering with an established company to hire a detail-oriented, proactive, and independent General Ledger Accountant to join the finance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing month-end closing, ensuring compliance, forecasting, and budgeting, while reporting directly to senior management.
Main duties & responsibilities
Manage monthly and year-end closing, including journal entries, reconciliations, and expense monitoring.
Prepare management reports, cash flow statements, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support business planning.
Support external audits, corporate tax, GST filings, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Prepare and submit tax filings, GST returns, and other statutory reports.
Track and analyze financial performance, focusing on revenue and expense deviations.
Work closely with internal teams and provide financial insights and reporting support.
Assist in financial system reviews, troubleshooting, and process enhancements.
Maintain accurate financial records, schedules, and documentation.
The Talent Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with over 5 years of relevant experience.
Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
Strong integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and independent, with the ability to work under pressure.
Good analytical and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Experience with ERP or accounting software.
