The Warehouse/Operations Manager will assist the Managing Director to supervise and manage day to day operations involving both retail & restaurant. He also involved with all logistics requirements including, but not limited to, the planning, storing and monitoring of all stock movements.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manager daily operation activities
Enforce and review standard operating procedure
Ensure all product specification are documented
Monitor the dry goods expiry dates and ageing inventory and prompt relevant departments (marketing and retail) to perform stock clearance accordingly
Oversee merchandising of all dry goods in both retail and restaurant clients
Support delivery order and invoicing for food service
Perform day-to-day warehousing duties such as receiving, checking, picking and replenishing inventory
Ensure proper handling and accounting of inventory
Monitor and track ageing inventory to ensure FIFO management
Oversee the production of goods and/or provision of services.
Ensure that meat handling and storage procedures comply with hygiene and safety standards
Maintain high standards of tidiness and cleanliness in the warehouse
Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of all company vehicles
Do delivery scheduling of food service and e-commerce orders to ensure adequate turnaround time
Supervise and lead the logistics team
Ensure the operation is running well efficiently that fulfil the expectations and needs of customers and clients
Perform other ad-hoc duties as required by the Management from time to time.
Requirements
Minimum diploma or equivalent qualification
Forklift and Class 3 Driving Licence preferred
Computer-literacy
Physically-demanding duties
Ability to work in cold room environment
At least five years relevant experiences in a supervisory role in a chilled/frozen meat environment
