Occasional requirement to work weekends or outside regular office hours to meet project deadlines.
Your Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee all M&E works to ensure timely completion, compliance with project specifications, and alignment with the project timeline.
Supervise the installation and commissioning of M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, etc.), ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure M&E work meets safety and quality standards.
Serve as the main point of contact for all M&E-related matters between clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Liaise with consultants and other trades to resolve any issues or challenges during the project.
Manage M&E-related project documentation, including progress reports, submittals, and quality checklists.
Assist in the procurement process, evaluating tenders and selecting subcontractors and suppliers.
Monitor M&E costs, ensuring the project stays within budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure safety standards are adhered to during M&E work and conduct regular safety audits.
Provide post-project support, including defect rectification and addressing operational issues after handover.
The Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related field.
Min 3 years of experience in M&E coordination, preferably in interior fit-out/ construction.
Strong knowledge of M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection).
Familiar with construction drawings, project specifications, and technical documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD or similar software is a plus.
Certification in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) for Construction Sites is a plus.
