Job description

Product managers play a key role in ensuring that food and beverage products are not only delicious but also safe, compliant, and meet the needs and preferences of consumers.

Product managers in this industry must keep a pulse on the latest market trends, regulatory requirements, and consumer preferences to develop products that meet and exceed customer expectations.

Finally, understanding consumer preferences and demands is critical for product managers in the food and beverage industry. Consumers today are more health-conscious and environmentally aware than ever before, and they expect the products they buy to reflect these values.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Identifying the key market segments and trends that are driving growth and innovation.
  2. Staying up-to-date with the ever-changing regulatory landscape, especially regarding food safety concerns and the increasing demand for transparency.
  3. Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  4. Meeting with the sales and marketing team to discuss digital marketing strategies.
  5. Designing and implementing online marketing strategies across all digital platforms.
  6. Managing the company’s social media platform and web advertising.
  7. Developing social media strategies.
  8. Identifying the latest trends and technology within the industry.
  9. Assessing the online user experience and developing strategies.
  10. Maintaining customer communications with weekly reports, news articles, and industry guides.
  11. Monitoring and maintaining the media budget.
  12. Preparing and presenting digital marketing reports.

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. In-depth knowledge of F&B related products.
  2. Experience with social media networking and advertising.
  3. Ability to work well under pressure.
  4. Knowledge of the latest technology and trends within the industry.
  5. Good interpersonal skills.
  6. Strong communication and presentation skills.
  7. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  8. Ability to conduct thorough research.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. Strong problem-solving skills.
  11. Willingness to stay updated on industry trends.
  12. Experience in training and mentoring staff.
  13. Degree or Diploma or minimum three years relevant work experience.
  14. Able to work early mornings, nights, and weekends.
