Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Director/Manager to oversee the financial operations and strategies for our gaming division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management within the gaming industry, coupled with strategic thinking and leadership capabilities. This role requires a deep understanding of gaming revenue models, financial planning, and regulatory compliance in the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

1. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s gaming objectives.
2. Create long-term financial forecasts, budgets, and operational plans for the gaming division.
3. Able to handle full sets of accounts including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

1. Monitor and analyze key financial performance indicators specific to the gaming industry (e.g., ARPU, LTV, CAC).
2. Prepare and present financial reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management.

Revenue Optimization:

1. Oversee in-game monetization strategies, including microtransactions, subscriptions, and DLC revenue streams.
2. Collaborate with product teams to assess pricing models and user acquisition costs.

Risk Management & Compliance:

1. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including tax laws and gaming-specific licensing requirements.
2. Identify and mitigate financial risks related to the gaming sector.
3. Manage tax compliance matters, including GST filing, filing withholding tax payments and tax planning for efficiency.

Team Leadership & Development:

1. Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring alignment with business goals.
2. Foster collaboration between the finance department and other units, such as product development, marketing, and operations.
3. Negotiate contracts with third-party service providers.

Investment Planning & Growth Support:

1. Evaluate and guide investments in new gaming projects, acquisitions, or expansions.
2. Support decision-making processes for new product launches and market entry strategies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
2. 7+ years of financial management experience.
3. In-depth knowledge of gaming business models, including free-to-play, premium, and subscription models.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
5. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with gaming analytics tools is a plus.
6. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
