Senior Fullstack Developer - Contract

Zenith Infotech (S) is a 28-year-old company specializing in Tech Recruitment for our clients from the government and corporate sectors in Singapore and Malaysia.

Currently, we are assisting one of our reputable clients in looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with 6 years of proficiency in REACT JS and Java skill sets.

This will be a 12-month renewable contract role.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 years software developer experience.
• Good working knowledge in Cloud technologies, such as Azure and Databricks.
• Strong working knowledge of JVM-based languages such as Scala, Java, and Kotlin, as well as web application languages such as HTML, CSS, Java, and React JS.
• In-depth knowledge of RESTful API designs and microservices.
• Knowledge of Spark SQL.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cosmos DB.
• Familiarity with Source Code Management tools such as Git.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and exposure to scrum ceremonies like Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement.
• Good knowledge of Core (private) banking and its products/services.
• Knowledge of the Banking Tax domain will be an added advantage.
• Awareness of Clean Code principles and clean coding practices, including Test Driven Development and the ability to design Unit, Integration, and Functional tests.
• Must demonstrate strong familiarity with Design Patterns.
