Blender (Gasoline)

Responsibilities:

1. Liaise with traders on the most optimum and economical blending program (balancing portfolio for quality optimization, selling of excess volume)
2. Ensure product quality and reduce product giveaways
3. Handle daily blending program to ensure product reliability and cost-efficient blending activities
4. Be responsible for product movement-related matters (organize, manage, track, and balance)
5. Handle the schedule and nominations based on supply & demand and inventory
6. Ensure product test samples and quality certificates are available
7. Work closely with traders to provide necessary operations support
8. Handle transportation activities, ensuring product can be moved efficiently (e.g., transport economics, load balances, inventory optimization, transportation analysis, and coordinating with relevant counterparts)
9. Liaise with third-party blend hub operator on movements
10. Handle logistical parts on both constraints and opportunities, liaising with traders & operations side
11. Coordinate with the overseas team on scheduling product movements
12. Liaise with relevant departments on month-end closing
13. Generate inventory, forecast, and schedule reports
14. Monitor and reconcile daily product stock
15. Nominating inspections on all components/blends and recycling with relevant parties as required
16. Maintain a high level of safety standards, ensuring all activities are conducted within appropriate limits
17. Provide accurate data and information when necessary (trader, risk management)

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity within the commodity trading industry, with experience in gasoline blending
2. Experience scheduling vessels, barges, pipelines, and/or other modes of transportation
3. Familiarity with the full slate of gasoline products
4. Good knowledge of trading and logistics in the gasoline market, especially in the East of Suez region
5. Knowledge of hedging & execution, blend hub
6. Willingness to accommodate after work hours and overseas travel requirements
7. Excellent communication skills and time management
