As Executive, Accounting and Finance will support the finance team in managing accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance tasks.
Responsibilities:
Month-End Close Activities: Handle all aspects of the month-end close, including reviewing the P&L, Balance Sheet schedules, FX hedging, broker statements, FX revaluation, and updating futures open positions.
Maintain Full Set of Accounts: Oversee all journal entries, revenues, and expenses to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Daily Accounting Tasks: Oversee daily operations of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliations, intercompany recharges/reconciliations, and process staff claims.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis: Assist in preparing budgets, conducting variance analysis, and implementing cost control initiatives to optimize financial performance.
Audit Support: Assist with audits and act as a liaison with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
GST Filing: Manage the quarterly GST filing process and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of audited financial statements and ensure proper submission of XBRL filings.
Statistical Survey Submissions: Support the submission of required statistical surveys and reports to regulatory bodies.
Process Improvement: Support process optimization initiatives, create, and maintain process documentation to enhance operational efficiency.
Ad Hoc Support: Assist with other tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Degree in Finance, Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
Relevant Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar finance/accounting role.
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SAP system and proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
Results-Oriented: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, navigating ambiguity effectively.
