Establishment of accounting operations for new business
Accounting and financial management of group companies in Singapore and Japan
Prepare and analyze financial statements and prepare long-term budgets
Management of monthly and annual closing operations
Tax reporting and compliance
General financial operations including fund procurement, fund management, investment planning, capital cost management, financial analysis, risk management, etc.
Internal audit and risk management
Propose and implement improvements to business processes
Day-to-day cash flow management, payment and deposit processing
Interaction with accounting firms
Leadership of the accounting team, training of subordinates, and operational guidance
Other general operations related to business management
Support for the operation of branch offices in other countries
Job Requirements
Experience or understanding of monthly, quarterly, annual, etc. stand-alone and consolidated financial statements
Business level Japanese and English (able to exchange emails)
CPA or other certification or equivalent skills
At least 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance position
Experience in team management
Understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and IFRS
Experience in using accounting software (xero, quickbooks, MYOB, etc.) in Singapore
