Chef / Pastry Chef – Dessert Specialist
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovative Dessert Creation: Design and craft signature desserts—including bingsu, tarts, and other themed treats—that wow our guests.
- Kitchen Operations: Oversee daily dessert station operations, ensuring high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Recipe Development: Experiment with new recipes and seasonal specials that align with our cafe’s unique theme.
- Quality & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.
- Collaboration: Work closely with management and team members to consistently enhance the overall guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Pastry Chef, ideally with a background in dessert specialties (experience with bingsu and tarts is a plus).
- Formal culinary training or a degree in pastry arts is preferred.
- Exceptional creativity, artistic flair, and a passion for desserts.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work flexible shifts, including weekends.
