Expected to work professionally in managing and training students, working with teachers and supporting school-wide projects and operations.
Manage and operate the Makers Garage.
Train and mentor projects relating to the Makers Garage.
Provide school-wide ICT support which includes professional media support and additional technical expertise to handle the increasingly sophisticated ICT implementation in schools (examples: support media equipment setup, TV messaging, video recording & editing, and web conferencing for teaching and learning).
Manage the implementation of events in schools (examples: media equipment setup, live streaming for major school events, etc.).
Execute daily operational and administrative duties (examples: schedule for events, setup, test, monitor, and troubleshoot audio, video, and control systems problems as and when required).
Perform preventive maintenance for all media equipment to ensure that they are well maintained and in good working condition (identify, recommend, purchase, install, and configure equipment and services as when required).
Maintain Audio Visual / Video conferencing equipment inventory, generate monthly reports, and highlight low inventory numbers or faulty equipment.
Be a point of contact for vendors, work closely with them to install and troubleshoot the issues (installing, testing, operating, maintaining, and dismantling of equipment).
Train students in Media Resource Club during their designated CCA days on Public Announcement (PA) system, photography, and videography.
Assist, guide, and advise students for media-related competitions, e.g., OSOS (Our Schools; Our Stories), etc.
Provide support to the school in areas of videography and photography.
Other duties include providing consultancy and assisting all teachers in media-related matters and problems.
Assist the Head ICT in other ICT related matters.
