Perform initial investment analysis and deal screening for start-ups;
Maintain and expand STE Engineering Ventures (STEV’s) network of Venture Capital firms (“VCs”) and startup ecosystem stakeholders;
Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders/BAs to understand their requirements for new technologies and finetune areas for tech scouting;
Work with the Investment Team to develop research and mapping of new technologies, and to identify promising startups for partnership and/or investment;
Work with the Investment Team to structure and negotiate the terms of the investments;
Work with the Investment Team to perform due diligence and develop the strategic investment case, including assessment of the value of the solution to ST Engineering in close collaboration with ST Engineering’s Lines of Business;
Participate in portfolio management of STEV’s existing portfolio companies, e.g. attend board meetings, partake in value creation and performance reporting;
Assist in Trip Support and function as local Subject Matter Expert for visits by ST Engineering’s Senior Management;
Position STEV as a world-class corporate investment partner for startups and VCs;
Preferred Experience / Requirements
5+ years of work experience with demonstrated track record in work performance and ability to learn fast on the job;
