Operations Manager, Surgery - Healthcare settings

Job Overview

As an Operations Manager (Surgery), you will be responsible for the following duties:

1. Assist in managing the delivery of hospital-defined strategic goals and initiatives in surgical care.
2. Administer collaborations, clinical operations support, service contracts, and project management activities, including care planning and integration.
3. Align efforts with MOH and NHG plans to integrate health and care provisions.
4. Lead and provide management oversight over ground operations and support staff.
5. Drive process improvements and continuous service quality enhancements to ensure efficient patient care operations and flow.
6. Oversee general administration and HR matters for the assigned unit as the Reporting Officer.
7. Collaborate with clinical leads to implement patient-centric initiatives across clinical and non-clinical departments.
8. Undertake key development projects and formulate business proposals for sustainable, cost-effective, value-based care models.
9. Monitor performance indicators and success factors to drive organizational outcomes.
10. Demonstrate leadership and management competency to coordinate operations aligned with hospital strategic directions.
11. Require a self-driven individual passionate about public healthcare with a keen interest in career growth in healthcare administration.

Requirements:

1. Possess degree in any discipline with at least 7 years of relevant working experience.
2. Exposure to, or experience in healthcare financial, practical knowledge or ownership of hospital operations, and project management carry added advantages.
