Job Description

Global Endpoint Operations manage the Endpoint Systems that connect Visa’s Client globally to all Core Systems and services at Visa Data Centers. The team is responsible for all technical support, Change Execution, Problem and Incident management. The role is required to work with the Product folks and the Global operation Automation team to develop solutions to support the endpoint day-to-day operation and implementation.

Essential Functions

1. Provide technical advice and support to Visa’s Client institutions and processors to ensure customers' expectations are exceeded.
2. Discipline in detailed documentation and reporting of issues and changes. Timely and accurate updating and maintaining Global Inventory records.
3. Create and test implementation Linux scripts for vendor’s field engineers and support team for installation and activation.
4. Perform remote system Installation with on-site vendor engineer support, configuration, and lockdown of Visa Endpoint servers.
5. Proactively work with Global Support groups and/or clients or vendors to provide flexible and nimble solutions for client issues and resolve system problems quickly.
6. Timely escalation of critical situations and any likely project risk that can impact project delivery scheduled to Manager and 3rd Level support team.
7. Ensure that all server deployments follow Visa security guidelines and report any non-compliance.
8. Able to communicate and work cordially in a global team with teammates from different cultures and time zones.
9. Work closely with both IMAC and Project team to ensure best-in-class delivery of solutions and support to Visa client.
10. Ensure all incidents and changes are in compliance with ITIL and operation policy.
11. Ensure that all servers going into production are locked down and meet operational acceptance criteria.
12. Be able to problem diagnose quickly and efficiently by running and reviewing application and network traces.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 2 or more years of work experience.
• Outstanding customer service skills and a dedication to the customer service experience.
• Must be result-oriented and constantly looking for new ways to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Project Coordination and planning experience.
• Must exercise a reasonable amount of independent judgment under minimum supervision.
• Ability to assess and analyze technical situations and provide viable alternatives.
• Must be a self-starter and pick up new skills and knowledge.
• Basic programming/scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or Perl.
• A keen interest to learn new skills and technology through online resources.
