Our client is a Japanese engineering company specializing in the Marine industry and looking for a talented Electrical Service Engineer to join their organization.

Reporting to: Manager

What will you be working on:

1. Supervising the overhaul operations of the side thruster on the ship.
2. Provide technical advice to workers.
3. Negotiation with ship supervisors and shipyards.
4. Dealing with ship's maneuvering systems.
5. Perform MRO tasks onboard the ship.
6. Provide coordination support to teammates.
7. Occasional irregular working hours (Will be notified of the schedule beforehand, OT Allowance provided).

What they're looking for:

(Must)

1. Diploma or Degree with relevant knowledge in Electric/Electrical Engineering.
2. At least 3 years of working experience as a Service Engineer in the Marine industry.
3. Able to read mechanical drawings.
4. Willing to do OT as and when required.

(Preferable)

1. Experience in service engineering, especially for container vessels and tankers is advantageous.
2. Experienced in the maintenance and repair of voyage ships, especially the overhaul operations of the side thrusters is highly welcomed.
3. Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Systems is an added advantage.
