Senior Business Analyst - Tax / Regulatory (Banking IT)

As part of Keyrus’ solution delivery, we are also in a position to recruit and place technical consultants to complement existing client projects with their expertise. As such, we seek innovative and agile people to support ambitious and forthcoming technological challenges.

We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst in Singapore for one of our banking clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Gather requirements from end users/Product Owners and document DFS/GFS/user stories.
2. Conduct functional analysis across multiple systems and interfaces.
3. Work with developers on system design, development, and unit testing.
4. Oversee SIT strategy, test cases, execution, and UAT support.
5. Ensure production readiness and assist in governance, security, and architecture deliverables.
6. Diagnose and resolve issues, recommending solutions to stakeholders.
7. Facilitate meetings, stakeholder communication, and documentation.
8. Analyze and bridge gaps between European and Asian banking processes.
9. Support project lifecycle, vendor management, and PM/SM activities.

Skills & Experience:

1. 12+ years in IT banking, with 8+ years in Tax/Regulatory topics (e.g., German Tax, AEOI/CRS, FATCA, IRS871m).
2. Strong knowledge of Wealth Management operations and financial products.
3. Experience with large, distributed IT teams and SaaS/Cloud projects.
4. Proficient in SQL, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
5. Banking systems knowledge (e.g., Olympic, TRANSACT, AAA).

Nice to Have:

1. Experience in SIT/UAT management, Agile/Scrum, JIRA, Confluence.
2. Knowledge of reporting tools (EasyTax, FiTax, SECTRAS, SIX).
3. Familiarity with Client Management Systems, Data Warehouses, Batch Reporting.
