Job Summary

This position is responsible for all activities involving materials movement and inventory transfer between the warehouse, production staging and shipping area. This includes transferring the bulk ingredient from transportation tankers to storage tanks.

The overall objective of the role is to support a wide variety of tasks in the warehouse function. This includes receiving, supporting production, shipping, cycle counting, inventory management and systems.

Responsibilities

1. Receiving - unloading, inspecting, receiving, sampling and locating all ingredients, packing and finished product that arrives at the plant.
2. Production support - ensuring continuous supply of ingredients and packaging to production and filling lines. Support shipping and receiving.
3. Shipping - inspecting, counting and loading outbound shipments, completing all paperwork, preparing shipment samples, bracing loads.
4. Inventory management - perform cycle counts, complete reconciliations, monitor inventory transactions, continually sort out inventory issues as they arise.

1. Experience in warehouse duties, preferably from a food / healthcare industry.
2. Forklift driving license is highly preferred.
3. Planning and organizing skills.
4. Good interpersonal relationships.
5. Computer literacy.
6. SAP knowledge is highly advantageous.
7. Nitec/Diploma in relevant technical fields.
8. Able to support weekly rotating shift work (730AM - 4PM / 330PM - 12MN).
