What you’ll do

• Identify, assess, and secure investment opportunities to support company growth, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Build relationships with venture capitalists, private equity firms, banks, and other financial institutions to secure funding and investment.
• Analyze market trends and investment opportunities to ensure the company is positioned for long-term financial success.
• Negotiate terms and structure funding agreements that align with the company’s objectives.
• Lead the finance department and provide strategic financial leadership to the organization.
• Collaborate with the executive team to define financial goals and develop strategies for achieving them.
• Oversee the development and implementation of financial plans, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead the preparation and analysis of financial performance reports, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Provide financial insight and recommendations to senior management on key decisions affecting the company’s financial health.
• Oversee the company’s treasury functions, including cash management, banking relationships, and capital structure optimization.
• Develop and maintain policies for managing cash flow, liquidity, and short-term financing.
• Maintain relationships with current investors, stakeholders, and potential partners.
• Ensure clear and transparent communication with investors regarding financial performance and strategy.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance.
• Expertise in managing risk and ensuring financial controls.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to think strategically and act as a trusted business advisor.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets, and investment strategies.
• Ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior executives and external stakeholders.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts.
