Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and enforce workplace safety and health (WSH) policies in line with industry regulations.
  2. Oversee deep excavation works and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
  3. Lead and manage a team of site safety personnel, providing guidance and ensuring compliance with WSH standards.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies, including the development of Risk Management Implementation Plans (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of workplace safety procedures, manuals, and industry best practices, including Design for Safety (DfS) appreciation courses.
  6. Regularly review and update safety manuals and procedures to ensure compliance with the latest regulations.

Job Requirements:

  1. Minimum 10 years of WSH experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years working with a developer or main contractor.
  2. Specialized Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in deep excavation works.
  3. Minimum 3 years of experience managing a team of site safety personnel.
  4. Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Workplace Safety & Health Disciplines, or a related field.
  5. MOM-registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with at least 5 years of practice.
  6. Certified in Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or an equivalent course.
  7. In Design for Safety (DfS) appreciation course.
  8. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  9. Well-versed in Workplace Safety & Health procedures and manuals.
  10. Ability to stay updated with industry standards and regulatory changes.

Must be willing to work shifts when necessary.
