Lab Assistant (5.5 days, Staggered 8 Working Hours between 11am-10pm)

• 5.5 days (Mon to Sun)
• Up to $2,300

Responsibilities

• Verify specimens from clinics/clients against request forms to ensure accurate labeling.
• Diligently barcode samples and request forms for testing following lab protocols.
• Adhere to safety guidelines for bloodborne pathogens and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow reference laboratory test requirements and procure appropriate specimens for testing.
• Process patient specimens as per laboratory guidelines.
• Assist clerical staff in the laboratory reception area when needed.
• Prepare and send samples to external laboratories.
• Use centrifuges and lab equipment to process and prepare specimens for testing.
• Maintain and care for lab work areas, equipment, and furnishings.
• Ensure adequate supply levels in the work area and distribute received stock items appropriately.
• Rotate to other lab locations or shifts as required.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Min GCE N Level /O Level and above
• Good teamwork and responsibility
• Able to stand long working hours
