Job Description

We need a Director of Sales to lead our commercial strategy and growth in Singapore. You will coordinate the growth of our sales teams, nurture client relationships, and collaborate across departments to drive revenue and market expansion. Your main goal is to build a high-performing sales culture that values innovation and results.

You'll have the chance to craft our business, collaborate closely with the Country Managing Director, and create a meaningful impact on SEEK's presence in Singapore. In this position, your leadership will be crucial in seizing new market opportunities and establishing SEEK as a prominent player in the recruitment industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead Growth: Drive significant market share and revenue growth by identifying and capturing new business opportunities.
  • Plan and Complete: Develop, refine, and implement sales strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring SEEK’s long-term growth in the competitive Singapore market.
  • Customer Engagement: Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with vital clients and C-suite partners, becoming their trusted advisor and improving our share of wallet.
  • Team Leadership: Encourage, mentor, and develop a diverse team of high-performing sales professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and success.
  • Collaborate for Excellence: Work with cross-functional teams—including Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Product—to improve sales processes, optimize customer success, and align on growth initiatives.
  • Innovate and Adapt: Stay ahead of market trends, spearhead trials and new initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across the sales organization.

What You’ll Bring

  • Leadership: Demonstrable experience in a senior sales leadership role, with a proven track record of managing large teams and delivering consistent revenue growth.
  • Market Expertise: Deep understanding of the Singapore market, with a background in solution selling, account management, and B2B sales. Experience in the technology or internet industry is highly valued.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking skills, able to navigate both high-level strategy and hands-on tasks. Your ability to balance long-term vision with practical implementation is well-regarded.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Demonstrated success in managing and growing C-level client relationships, with a focus on delivering value and encouraging long-term partnerships.
  • Performance Culture: You thrive in a high-performance environment and know how to build, develop, and motivate teams to exceed their targets.
  • Agility: Experience working in both fast-paced, nimble environments as well as more structured organizations. You adapt easily and lead your team through change.
  • Collaboration and Influence: Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across functions and influence senior collaborators both within and outside the organization.
  • Travel: Be open to travel to SEEK’s Asia HQ in Malaysia, as required.
