Senior / Project Executive(Restaurant Expansion)

Overview:
KFC & Pizza Hut Singapore are on an exciting growth journey! As we massively expand our footprint until 2025 and refresh our restaurant network, we seek dynamic **Project Senior / Executives** to join our team. This role is crucial in overseeing the construction and development of our new stores and remodelling existing ones. You will play a key part in the implementation, on-site supervision, and license clearance necessary for restaurant operations.
Reports to: Manager, Projects
Liaises with: Restaurant Operations, Technical, IT, Real Estate Department, and other Cross Functional Departments
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Project Management (40%):
- Lead and manage the construction of new stores, remodelling of existing stores, and closure reinstatement works.
- Conduct on-site supervision to ensure all projects are delivered accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify site requirements and plan projects accordingly.
- Verify the completion of work and receipt of drawings by vendors and contractors before approving payments.
- Utilize AutoCAD to update or modify drawings, plot floor layouts, and maintain up-to-date documentation for all restaurant drawings.
- Research and recommend new materials, techniques, and equipment to enhance profitability, productivity, and effectiveness.
- Ensure swift processing of applications for approvals and clearances with relevant authorities, landlords, and stakeholders.
Project, Vendor, Tender & Govt Administration (60%):
- Prepare project costing budgets and maintain accountability for meeting budgetary constraints.
- Review, evaluate, and recommend the award of project contracts within approved expenditure limits.
- Manage tender processes, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and awarding contracts.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with contractors, vendors, suppliers, and government bodies.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and services, ensuring cost-efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with all contract terms, conditions, and requirements.
- Liaise with government authorities to expedite necessary approvals, licenses, and clearances for project execution.
- Monitor project status and take necessary actions to ensure progress remains on schedule.
Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management, construction, or real estate development, preferably within the restaurant or retail sector.
- Proven track record in managing and delivering projects from inception to completion, with a strong emphasis on deadlines and budget management.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD for drawing updates and furniture layout plotting, with meticulous documentation skills.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and find efficient solutions during project execution.
- In-depth understanding of license clearance processes and ability to expedite approvals from relevant authorities, landlords, and stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure the best deals and confidently manage stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to independently handle and lead projects with minimal supervision.
