Job Description - AVP, EMB LLMS Singapore Product Owner, Emerging Business (240001VC)

The Programme Management team is a high performing unit, playing a vital role in supporting the SMEs by delivering innovative solutions to help business owners realise their ambitions. With the changing landscape in consumer behaviour, reinforced by technological advances, banking has also transformed.

We are seeking an experienced individual to join the Emerging Business Programme Management team as Lead, Product Owner to spearhead the development of a new Regional Loan Lifecycle Management System for Singapore. This role reports to Regional Lead – Emerging Business Loan Lifecycle Management System (EMB LLMS), under Global Enterprise Banking.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Singapore EMB LLMS. You will be responsible for delivering capabilities in transformation architecture, experience & business design. We like problem-solvers with an agile and growth mindset who are comfortable with pushing the boundaries to expand our products through digital channels.

What you do

  1. Define and communicate the vision and strategy for the LLMS, aligning it with the overall business objectives and customer needs.
  2. Work closely with stakeholders, including IT teams and business users, to gather requirements, validate ideas, and ensure that the product meets user needs.
  3. Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria that guide the development team in delivering high-quality features.
  4. Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog and roadmap, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and market trends.
  5. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, grooming and retrospectives, to ensure effective collaboration and progress tracking.
  6. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the customer experience.
  7. Work closely with the IT Quality Assurance team and UAT testers to ensure that acceptance criteria are understood and can be effectively translated into test cases.
  8. Support UAT processes by ensuring that testers have a clear understanding of the acceptance criteria and are equipped with the necessary information to validate the functionality against user stories.
  9. Ensure that the EMB LLMS complies with all relevant regulations and industry standards, working closely with compliance and credit risk management teams.
  10. Provide training and support to internal teams and users, ensuring they understand the features and benefits of the LOS.

Qualifications

Who you are

  1. Tertiary education with minimum 5 years of working experience
  2. Experience in project management; managing digital loan platform and/or product management in business/consumer loans preferred
  3. Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
  4. Proven experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Sprints).
  5. Possess strong soft skills alongside technical expertise, including the ability to evaluate build feasibility with respect to integration and scalability, as well as estimate effort and resource requirements.
  6. Result-oriented and self-driven individual
