Senior Legal Counsel (Technology)

We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel (Technology) to join us!

A brief summary of your job responsibilities:

1. Work with product leads to assess risks and compliance-related issues associated with using a product and mitigate risks by advising on product liability issues.
2. Develop template contracts and a contractual framework that manages risks holistically for the products and services for Assurity.
3. Work with internal stakeholders in Assurity and external stakeholders in GovTech and other government agencies to carry out these responsibilities.
4. Oversee and manage the compliance programme for Assurity on matters related to data privacy and other compliance-related issues.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

1. Admission to the Singapore bar for practice in Singapore.
2. At least 8 years of post-qualification experience.
3. Prior experience of regulatory advisory work in technology space in-house preferred.
4. Proven stakeholder management capabilities within a large organization.
5. Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative demeanor, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams to reach outcomes.
6. Strong and concise drafting skills, excellent communication abilities, and commercial savviness are pre-requisites.
